As NBA star Stephen Curry and NFL icon Marshawn “Beastmode” Lynch collaborate to create a documentary about Mac Dre’s life and legacy, Bay Area culture is set to take center stage.

The movie, which is presently called the Untitled Mac Dre Documentary, will honor the Vallejo rapper who was instrumental in the emergence of the Hyphy movement and had a significant influence on hip-hop.

Mac Dre’s mother, Wanda Salvatto, is working with Curry’s Unanimous Media and Lynch’s Beastmode Productions to offer a close-up look at her son’s life, his impact, and the movement he helped start.
