Brad Pitt believes his ex-wife Angelina Jolie walked the red carpet with their son Knox Jolie-Pitt at the 2024 Governors Awards “to push his buttons,”.

On Sunday, the 16-year-old was seen for the first time in three years posing for photos arm-in-arm with the “Maleficent” star at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre.

“Brad finds it a bit coincidental that a judge signed off on the [Château] Miraval trial just days before Knox joined Angelina at the Governors Awards,” a confidential source tells us.

Brad Pitt believes Angelina Jolie had their son Knox Jolie-Pitt walk the red carpet at the 2024 Governors Awards “to push [Brad’s] buttons,” an insider says Page Six.

The 16-year-old posed for photos arm-in-arm with the “Maleficent” star for the first time in three years as he came out at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre on Sunday.

“So he really questions her motive for bringing Knox.”

However, a different source previously told us that the teen decided to join his mother on the red carpet.

“Angelina felt so proud having Knox by her side,” the informant revealed.

“He typically prefers to stay out of the spotlight and Angelina respects that decision, but he asked if he could join her, and of course she was thrilled that he wanted to be there.”

According to a separate informant, Knox normally wants to keep out of the spotlight, but he asked to join her, which she gladly accepted.

The source continued: “She couldn’t be more proud of him, and they had a really memorable evening together.”

Earlier this month, a Los Angeles Superior Court judge ruled in favor of the Château Miraval lawsuit proceeding to trial, giving Pitt a legal victory after Jolie’s attempts to dismiss the case were rejected.

Meanwhile, Shiloh, the former couple’s 18-year-old daughter, officially abandoned her father’s surname in August after filing a legal request on her May birthday.

“Brad is still upset that Shiloh dropped Pitt from her last name,” a source tells Page Six.

“They used to have a terrific relationship, but that is in the past, which tears his heart. Brad believes Angelina has turned his children against him.

According to the insider, “He feels like Angelina knows exactly what she’s doing.”

Pitt, 60, and Jolie, 49, got married in August 2014. The “Girl, Interrupted” star filed for divorce two years later, in September 2016.

The “Fight Club” actor has now moved on with his 31-year-old girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, and the couple is “doing amazing,” according to our informant.

He’s “so grateful to have a strong woman by his side who not only supports him but isn’t fazed by being in the public eye or all of the issues surrounding Brad’s legal drama.”

Our insider said that Ramon “doesn’t let any of those issues come between them or put any type of strain on their relationship,” which began in 2022.
