According to a new allegation, Gypsy Rose Blanchard and her estranged husband, Ryan Anderson, divorced after an argument over his food hoarding.

According to sources close to Blanchard, Blanchard broke up with Anderson after the two “got into a major fight” over his alleged behavior.

Blanchard, 32, did not appear to be completely aware of Anderson’s hoarding until they moved into their two-bedroom apartment after her release from jail in December 2023.

His purported problems apparently reminded Blanchard of her late mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard, whom she famously had her then-boyfriend, Nicholas Godejohn, murder after discovering she was a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy.

According to insiders, Blanchard was “especially bothered” by their shared fridge, which was stocked with “old food items that needed to be thrown away.”

Blanchard apparently threw out the expired things, but Anderson, 37, was “not happy” about it, and they had a “huge argument” over it.

Blanchard was supposedly “shaken” by the incident and found it “scary [Anderson] got so worked up about a fridge.”

To add fuel to the fire, the former couple apparently argued over how they slept at night, with Anderson snoring and becoming a “human furnace,” according to the publication.

Blanchard and Anderson have not directly addressed the reason for their breakup. She was the first to publicly announce the news in a Facebook post on March 15.

“People have been asking what is going on in my life,” she stated at the time. “Unfortunately my husband and I are going through a separation and I moved in with my parents’ home down the bayou.”

Anderson later praised his Instagram followers for their “support” and teased that fans “will see what really happened” between them on their upcoming Lifetime reality TV program.

Blanchard filed for divorce one week later and obtained a restraining order.

The estranged couples married in July 2022, when Blanchard was serving an eight-year sentence at Chillicothe Correctional Center in Chillicothe, Missouri, for her role in her mother’s death.

Blanchard was spotted holding hands and showing off her matching husky tattoo with ex-fiancé Ken Urker earlier this month, after news of their separation made headlines.
