People often use Google Earth to look at their old homes, but one person found something on the program that changed their life.

William Moldt was last seen in Florida in 1997, and no one knew where he was for years.

When he disappeared, he was 40 years old, and his girlfriend was waiting for him to come home the night he disappeared.

William was last seen coming home from a bar. Around 9.30 p.m., he called his girlfriend to let her know he would be home soon.

She would never talk to her partner again.

The police couldn’t find William in the years that followed, but 22 years later, they made an unexpected finding.

Someone was looking at their old house on Google Earth when they saw something in Moon Bay Circle, Wellington.

They thought they saw what looked like a car and called the cops to look into it.

Skeletal parts were found inside the car when it was pulled out of the water. The body parts were definitely identified after a week, and it was proven that they belonged to William.

The most disturbing thing about the story is that the car had been visible on Google Earth since 2007. It’s too bad that no one had seen it sooner.

The vehicle had been clearly visible on a Google Earth satellite picture of the area since 2007, but it seems that no one had noticed it until 2019. This was said in a report by the Charley Project, an online database of unsolved crimes in the US.

In 2019, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office told the BBC that William had been found. They said they thought William would have lost control of his car and driven it into the pond.

During the investigation into the disappearance, they said, there was “no evidence of that occurring.” Until recently, they said, “due to the shift of water, the car was not clearly visible.”

Google Maps and Earth have been used to find a lot of interesting things over the years, such as a so-called “ghost plane” in Australia.

In 2022, someone saw what looked like an airplane landing on the south side of a mountain ridge northeast of Mount Leach in the Cardwell Ranges, which are north of Ingham.

The Civil Aviation Safety Authority wasn’t sure about it, though.

“There appears to be a phenomenon called ghost images and that could be what this is,” they stated.
