A tragic new video captures the moment a mother and daughter were murdered by a car that ran a red light — and you can see how fast the driver was going.
The dramatic footage shows Laticha Bracero and her adult daughter, 21-year-old Alyssa Cordova, walking through a crosswalk on early February 14 — shortly after Drake’s concert in St. Louis — when a car suddenly enters the frame, blowing through a red light and sideswiping another car before running them over.

Obviously, the deadly occurrence is utterly horrible — and worse, it occurred just a few blocks away from the Enterprise Center in downtown St. Louis, where the women had just left a Drake show… the second night of his two-show run in town.

According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the mother died at the scene, while her daughter died later in the hospital.
According to cops, the alleged driver, 22-year-old Monte Henderson, was blowing red lights and speeding in a Jeep Cherokee before knocking over the women and injuring numerous other pedestrians. They found him and arrested him shortly after that.

Henderson has been charged with two counts of armed criminal action and involuntary manslaughter. Cops say he was speeding at more than 70 mph; it’s unknown why he was traveling so fast… but he has supposedly since bailed out of jail.
According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, a judge supervising his case dismissed prosecutors’ request to keep him locked up, citing a threat to the community, and allowed him to be released on $20,000 bail. He has now been released from jail.
The mother and daughter were reportedly from Chicago and had gone to St. Louis specifically to see Drizzy. A GoFundMe page has been set up in their name to help with burial preparations and other expenses.
