“You know, I said I was taking a break and all that sh*t, but I’m right back on the road again,” he stated to the throng. “It’s difficult for me to remain away from you; I truly adore you. You never know. I might grow bored and start writing some new music on the road; we’ll see where it goes in the next little while.”

Regarding his decision to leave music, he stated on his SiriusXM radio show, Table for One, that he wanted to prioritize his health. “I probably won’t make music for a little bit,” he remarked at the time. “I’ll be honest with you: I need to prioritize my health — which I’ll discuss soon enough. Nothing extreme, but I want people to live healthy lives. I’ve been having stomach problems for years, so I need to focus on my health and get it right, and I intend to do so. I’d like to work on a variety of other things.

During the show, Drake also volunteered to cover the cost of surgery for one audience member.
