Deadline has heard that a rigger at Radford Studios tragically died after falling from the rafters this morning.

While not filming, the crew member was working on the set of Marvel Studios’ Wonder Man television series.

A Marvel spokeswoman confirmed the incident, saying, “Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with his family and friends, and our full support is behind the investigation into the circumstances of this accident.”

The sitcom is slated to begin production next month, following a delay caused by the WGA and SAG AFTRA strikes.
