In a new trailer for her documentary, former journalist Wendy Williams was shown in tears as she confessed she has ‘no money’.
It’s just been three years since Williams’ chat show, The Wendy Williams Show, ended, but the presenter rapidly withdrew from the spotlight, leaving viewers worried about her well-being.
An new documentary will provide insight into the life of the 59-year-old singer.

The two-part documentary, titled Where Is Wendy Williams, will premiere on Lifetime and follow Williams and her family as she navigates life away from her chat show.
A trailer for the documentary was posted on Thursday (1 February), however it was quickly erased. However, a social media user captured the trailer, which is still available in various sites online.
In the clip, Williams faces the camera and admits she has ‘no money’.

“Let me tell you something – if it happens to me, it could happen to you,” she told me.
Williams is also seen clutching a pillow and crying, while her loved ones express their concern and say she was ‘calling out for help’.
Wendy’s son, Kevin Hunter Jr., thinks his mother has ‘done a really fantastic job at making it appear like everything’s alright,’ but adds, “In reality, there’s something wrong going on.”
Elsewhere in the video, Williams’ family members voice concerns about people taking advantage of her, as well as the financial guardianship she was placed under in 2022.

Wanda, her sister, becomes emotional in the trailer, saying, “We are her family, and you tell me that I am incapable of caring for my sister.” What would you do? “What should I do?”
Williams left her chat program because she was struggling with addiction while also dealing with Graves disease.
The illness is an autoimmune condition in which the thyroid produces an excessive amount of thyroid hormone. Symptoms include uneasiness, anxiety, irritability, hyperactivity, and mood instability.
Before departing The Wendy Williams Show, the presenter said that she had been living in a sober house.
The trailer says that Where Is Wendy Williams? will be presented over two days, on February 24 and 25.
The documentary is Lifetime’s latest project concerning Williams, following Wendy: What a Mess! and Wendy Williams: The Movie, both of which were released in 2021.
