Once more, Kevin Hart responded to Katt Williams’ comments about him and other comedians, and this time, he had some fun with his friend.

The conversation turned to Williams during Friday’s NBA Unplugged broadcast of the New York Knicks vs. Philadelphia 76ers game, which Hart and his group, the Plastic Cup Boyz, were calling. When the 52-year-old comedian attacked Hart during his performance on Club Shay Shay last week, the lifelong pals couldn’t stop laughing at him.

“Another fun fact about the New York Knicks, I don’t know if you guys know this, but Katt Williams bought the Knicks, and it’s rumored that he took the Knicks back, returned them with a receipt,” Hart continued. “That has never been done before by anyone. After 15 days of purchase, he returned them. That’s just one more interesting tidbit about the Knicks.

Hart persisted in teasing Williams by mocking the remark he made about growing up with the Plastic Cup Boyz and reading 3,000 books. Hart claims that when Williams was seven years old, he received an acceptance to Delaware State University, but the story was never publicized.

“The world’s biggest secret,” Hart remarked between chuckles. “The smartest child in history, they managed to hide it for 48 years. They concealed it from us; it was just revealed.”

After that, Hart continued, pointing out that another interesting aspect was that Williams had dropped off the Memphis Grizzlies All-Star as the game cut to Ja Morant entering the arena. In addition, he said that his fellow comic is the first to “embrace a hardwood floor” and has a basketball court in his living room.

In an X post, Hart initially addressed Williams’ criticism of him by stating that his fellow comics needed to let go of all the “hate.”

“Champion, you need to let that rage out of you… The native of Philadelphia wrote, “It’s really depressing. “Enjoy the trailer for my upcoming film, “LIFT,” which will be available on [Netflix] in eight days! In the trailer, [Gugu Mbatha-Raw] exclaims, “They Really Love You” at one point. Now that I know, she’s referring to Katt.”
