According to a new TV special, Britney Spears broke her head open during a “explosive” battle with her husband, Sam Asghari, prior to their divorce.

In “Britney Spears: Divorce & Despair,” which aired Thursday on Fox, TMZ founder Harvey Levin claimed that the now-divorced couple previously had a major battle in London that resulted in the “Toxic” singer becoming gravely damaged and requiring medical attention.

“She and Sam were going at it in a hotel room, and it got so bad [that] she tripped and hit the coffee table, cracking her head open,” Levin claimed. “She needed stitches.”

In the “TMZ Investigates” segment, executive producer Charles Latibeaudiere stated that Spears’ alleged “volatility” became “too much” for Asghari “to take,” thus the actor filed for divorce on Aug. 16 after only 14 months of marriage.

According to the site, Asghari, 29, suspected Spears, 41, of cheating on him with a staff member at her home, and that the pop singer once physically struck the former personal trainer while he was sleeping, leaving him with a black eye.

Sources close to Spears, on the other hand, rejected the charges.

“There was no deception. “And he’s 6 feet 2 and she’s 5 feet 4,” one insider said.

Neither the Grammy winner nor the “Hacks” star have responded publicly to TMZ’s accusations, despite the fact that they have both spoken out about their divorce.

On Aug. 17, Asghari stated simply on Instagram, “s-t happens,” while Spears told her 42 million followers two days later that she “was a little shocked” but “couldn’t take the pain anymore.”

According to sources, the couple, who began dating in late 2016 and want to marry in June 2022, signed a “iron-clad” prenuptial agreement that safeguards the multimillionaire superstar’s assets.

The highly anticipated book is still scheduled to be released on October 24, but with the publishing date so close, it seems unlikely that the “…Baby One More Time” singer will be able to change its fairy-tale finale.

Despite the drama, insiders exclusively informed Page Six that Spears is “in really great spirits” and “focused” on work, including an upcoming songwriters camp for her first album since 2016.
