Books, Laptops, And Other Items Taken From A Vegas-Area Home In Connection With Tupac's Murder

A list of things seized during a raid on a Las Vegas-area property linked to Tupac Shakur’s death has been released. Laptops, iPads, a USB, and a hard drive were taken from the house, according to TMZ. Books and photographs were also removed from the scene. Keefe D’s Compton Street Legends was one of the novels.

On Tuesday (July 18), word came of a search warrant executed in Las Vegas in connection with Tupac Shakur’s 1996 death. According to TMZ, the residence was owned by a woman named Paula Clemons, who is the wife of Keefe D, who has long been at the center of the Pac death discussion.

The Metro SWAT team utilized in the search is shown in the video below.

The warrant was carried out in Henderson, Nevada, which does not have a statute of limitations for homicide prosecutions.

“LVMPD can confirm that on July 17, 2023, a search warrant was served in Henderson, Nevada as part of the ongoing Tupac Shakur homicide investigation,” Las Vegas police stated in a statement. “We will have no further comment at this time.”

According to CBS News, retired Los Angeles police officer Greg Kading reported that the case was solved when Keefe D, born Duane Davis, confessed to his involvement in the crime while being questioned in connection with The Notorious B.I.G.’s murder. The specifics of what was discovered at the Nevada home, if anything, have not been revealed.

Former Death Row muscle Reggie Wright Jr. added to the rumor mill concerning Tupac Shakur’s 1996 murder on the Bomb1st podcast in April 2022, alleging that the last man alive in the car that fired the fatal rounds that killed Shakur will be charged with the decades-old crime this year.

According to Wright, the Las Vegas Police Department has increased its investigation into the death of Assata Shakur.

“Let’s put it this way, I bet Keefe D [has] been having the runs for the last two weeks,” Wright joked. “Because they are knocking on doors and there is activity.” Wright even made a game out of the rumors, challenging viewers to identify the date on which Keefe D will be arrested this year, guaranteeing a prize to whoever gets it right.
