The series’ title sequence was developed utilizing artificial intelligence (AI), according to the showrunners of Secret Invasion.
If you haven’t seen the new Marvel show, the title includes colorful green graphics that twist and distort as spectators meet the malevolent Skrull for the first time.
Despite the fact that the scenario ties into the series’ themes, some have criticized the decision.
Given that the show stars Oscar winner Olivia Coleman, Emilia Clarke (as the Mother of Dragons), and Samuel L. Jackson reprising his role as Nick Fury, there’s a lot of excitement surrounding the Secret Invasion’s development.
The comic book adaptation will follow the former leader of S.H.I.E.L.D. as he attempts to learn more about a secret Skrull invasion.
With the shapeshifters easily blending into mankind, it’s up to the seasoned agent to prevent them from acquiring positions of power all around the planet.
The titles of the Marvel shows effectively parallel this, with abstract artwork of Skrulls altering and morphing throughout the run.
The design was designed by Method Studio, who used AI to create the unsettling pictures, according to showrunner Ali Selim.
“When we reached out to the AI vendors, that was part of it — it just came right out of the shape-shifting, Skrull world identity, you know?” he explained to Polygon. Who did it? “Who exactly is this?”
Though the director confesses he doesn’t ‘get’ the brilliant technology, he felt it might express the foreboding of Secret Invasion.
“We’d talk to them about ideas and themes and words, and then the computer would go off and do something,” he explained, adding, “and then we could change it a little bit by using words, and it would change.”

“It felt explorative, inevitable, exciting, and different.”
Stephen Ford, the director of Teen Wolf, was not impressed with the new design approach.
In an angry tweet, he slammed Selim’s decision, saying it ‘overshadowed’ the work of industry designers.
Ford tweeted, tagging the Disney+ director, “Marvel/Disney have infinite money yet used AI for the Secret Invasion opening credits.” A slap in the face to every artist Disney has ever worked with, and something that overshadows everyone’s hard work on this show.”
Meanwhile, Method Studio has refused to explain how they created the Secret Invasion segment.
Previously, the business worked on Marvel series such as Moon Knight, Ms. Marvel, and Loki.
