Bronny James will be joined on the basketball floor at the University of Southern California by another NBA legend’s son, D.J. Rodman.

The 22-year-old son of Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman revealed his intention to transfer from Washington State to USC for his senior season on Tuesday.

“All these ups and downs, lefts and rights led me to Fight On #committed #gotrojans,” Rodman said in an Instagram description that included images of him in a USC uniform.

Rodman ended his senior year with the Cougars, averaging 9.6 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 41.3 percent from the field and 38.1 percent from behind the three-point line.

Bronny, the 18-year-old son of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James, announced his choice to attend USC in an Instagram post over the weekend.

“Fight On #committed,” Bronny captioned his photo, referencing the USC Trojans’ school slogan. The player can be seen wearing his Sierra Canyon School outfit in the Trojans’ locker room at the Galen Center in the image provided.

Following the Lakers’ Game 3 NBA Playoff victory on Sunday, the four-time NBA Champion, 38, commented about his son’s decision to attend USC, calling the occasion “one of the best days of my life.”

“First and foremost, congratulations to Bronny on his decision,” the elder James remarked. “I am very proud of him, and our family is very proud of him.” It is even more meaningful to me because it is the first time someone from my family has gone to college. Obviously, I did not attend college.”

“It is a proud moment for me to see my son go to college, and he is the first in my family to do so.” “I am super proud, super emotional, and super excited and happy for his journey,” he said.

According to ESPN, Bronny is now ranked as one of the top five point guards in the country.
