On the most recent episode of the AllHipHop podcast, Dipset Capo Jim Jones described how there were so many Blood gang members there when he was in the studio with Jay-Z that Hov himself had to address the problem.
When Jones and the old Roc-A-Fella team visited the storied Baseline Studios, he said, “We were right in Harlem, so we ain’t have to cross no bridges or whatever to go there. It took us exactly seven minutes to travel there. We used to frequent that location frequently. Me swarming in there with about 20 Bloods by my side.
“[Jay-Z] looking at me like I’m crazy,” Jones claimed. When I entered there one day carrying so many Bloods, Jay called out to me, “Come here, come here, come here.” as though he were my uncle.
Hov allegedly remarked, “I’m not worried about all the Bloods you bring here,” according to the Harlem rapper. That is not a concern of mine. However, since this is my home, make sure the intruders holler at me first when you bring the thugs in.
