According to video posted on Twitter, rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine was viciously attacked and beaten by a group of men while he was in a Florida gym.

The performer with the rainbow hair is shown being punched by a group of men as he cowers on the floor of the LA Fitness restroom in the footage.

The men scream at him to “shut the f-k up” as they continue to assault the “GOOBA” rapper.

Tekashi was using the facility’s sauna when he was attacked, according to his lawyer, Lance Lazzaro, who spoke to TMZ.

Tekashi, real name Daniel Hernandez, was not accompanied by security at the time of the assault, according to Lazzaro.

Employees at LA Fitness contacted the police and emergency services, who then took the convicted felon to a nearby hospital for treatment of his cuts and bruises as well as injuries to his jaw, ribs, and back.

Lazzaro told the publication that he intended to contact the federal authorities in order to get his client the security he requires because Tekashi was given an early release from jail for drugging other gang members who are currently incarcerated.

Before deciding to work with the government and give evidence against Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods members, the 26-year-old rapper, who pleaded guilty to racketeering and other charges, risked decades in prison.

The “Gotti” performer disclosed in his testimony in September 20129 that the day following his arrest in 2018 was the day he turned informant.

When Tekashi testified against his accused former associates Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack, he claimed he used the violent crew for “street credibility.”

His newsworthy testimony came at the same time that rapper Snoop Dogg trolled the artist on Instagram with rat emojis for tipping off his erstwhile friends.

It’s not obvious if his tip-off caused the gym attack.
