T-Pain, a Grammy Award-winning, multi-talented musician and businessman, has finally released his eagerly expected covers album On Top Of The Covers, which is available right now via Nappy Boy Entertainment.

This album showcases T-Pain’s stunningly soulful and smooth natural, non-AutoTuned voice, which stunned audiences when he won the first season of FOX’s The Masked Singer after previously giving what was then the most-watched NPR Tiny Desk session of all time. The album features an eclectic and unexpected mix of reimagined hits that all hold a special meaning for T-Pain.

Sam Cooke’s “A Change Is Gonna Come,” Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’,” Dr. Hook’s “Sharing The Night Together,” Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me,” Chris Stapleton’s “Tennessee Whiskey,” Frank Sinatra’s “That’s Life” ft. NandoSTL (an artist from Nappy Boy Entertainment), Black Sabbath’s “War Pigs,” and an interlude (in K Major Sus).

Each of these tracks has a special meaning for me and has played a part in my multiple musical loves. This covers album is being released from the perspective of what I perceive when I listen to each song. T-Pain exclaims, “I can’t wait to share with the world what I’ve been working on for the past few years.
