Disney+ revealed on Wednesday that The Santa Clauses, a holiday-themed series, has been renewed for a second season.
In the 1994 hit movie The Santa Clause, Tim Allen made his acting debut as the movie’s titular global gift-giver.
In the 2002 and 2006 sequels as well as the subsequent series, which debuted on the streaming platform last month, he returned to the role.
Allen is once again portrayed as the man in red on the show, but this time, he wants to find someone deserving to take his position so he can retire and spend more time with his wife Mrs. Claus (Elizabeth Mitchell) and their teenagers Cal and Sandra (Elizabeth Allen-Dick).
The four cast members were highlighted in the tweet from Disney+ announcing the renewal of Season 2.
