Tina Turner Is Mourning The Death Of Her Son Ronnie Turner, Who Died At The Age Of 62: 'You Left The World Much Too Soon'

Ronnie Turner, son of Tina Turner, passed away, his mother and wife confirmed on Friday. He was 62.

Ronnie, you left the world way too early, read Tina Turner’s tribute to her son on her Instagram page on Friday. “I close my eyes in grief and remember you, my precious son.”

French singer Afida Turner, Ronnie Turner’s wife, paid tribute to her husband on social media on Friday morning, describing him as “my greatest friend” and a “genuine angel.”

She said on Instagram, “I did the best until the end this time, but I was no (sic) able to save you, and Ronnie is now with his brother Craig and father, Ike Turner. “In paradise, sleep. So unjust.”

The youngest of Tina Turner’s four sons, Ronnie Turner, appeared in Angela Bassett and Laurence Fishburne’s 1993 biopic, “What’s Love Got To Do With It?,” which starred Tina and Ike Turner.

2018 saw the 59-year-old alleged suicide death of Craig Turner. He was Tina Turner’s firstborn child, whom she had with saxophonist Raymond Hill when she was 18 years old, and he worked in real estate. Ike Turner adopted Craig after they got married in 1962.

Tina posted on social media after Craig’s passing that her “Her “last farewell to my son, Craig Raymond Turner, when I met with family and friends to scatter his ashes off the coast of California, was the saddest moment I’ve ever experienced as a mother. He was 59 years old when he cruelly passed away, but he will always be my baby.”

Ike Jr., 64, and Michael, 63, two of Ike’s kids, were also adopted by Tina Turner. She and Ike Turner were married for 16 years before getting a divorce. After dating for over 30 years, she wed German music producer Erwin Bach in 2013.

Ike Turner passed away in 2007 at the age of 76. A cocaine overdose was determined to be the cause of death.
