The heart must grow fonder with absence! After 25 years of marriage, Sylvester Stallone and Jennifer Flavin appeared to be infatuated again during a romantic outing in Manhattan on Friday, October 7.

This was just a few weeks after a divorce was on the table. Following their recent reconciliation, the couple wasted no time in resuming their romantic relationship. For their date in New York City, they were both dressed stylishly, and the former supermodel gave the Oscar-nominated actor a tender kiss on the cheek.

Sylvester and Jennifer were seen out together for the first time since they reconciled a little more than a week ago.

The Rocky actor put his hands on his wife’s leg while Sylvester and Jennifer chatted on a seat in Calabasas and seemed to be having a nice time. The two were beaming as they conducted their errands, demonstrating what a difference a few weeks can make.

Sly regrets covering up his tattoos of Jennifer now that the couple is back together, a source said. The insider said, “Like any relationships, they have their problems, but he never anticipated her to go that far. When he found out, he responded very emotionally by covering her tattoos.

“He is considering getting a fresh tattoo in her honor because he regrets it now. He’s obviously all the way back in now, and he makes a promise to never let their relationship veer off course again.

Another source stated that the three daughters of Sylvester and Jennifer—Sophia, 26, Sistine, 24, and Scarlet, 20—”couldn’t be happier” about their parents’ decision to remain together.

The insider added that although the “love is there,” and they’re making “patience and understanding” efforts to fix the issues, the couple intends to keep the reason Jennifer initially filed for divorce “secret.”

After 25 years of marriage, Jennifer filed for divorce from Sylvester in Florida in August. Jennifer claimed in court documents that the marriage was “irretrievably destroyed” and that Sly had “moved assets from marital finances.” I love my family, Sylvester’s spokesman said in a statement at the time. These are personal difficulties that we are peacefully and quietly resolving.
