In an upcoming prequel to Ocean’s Eleven, Ryan Gosling and Margot Robbie are reportedly in talks to play characters.

Robbie’s participation in the Warner Bros. prequel was officially announced earlier this year. According to a recent source, Ryan Gosling is being considered for a role in the movie.

Gosling has reportedly been in talks to play the lead role in the picture, which will have a greater budget than the previous Ocean’s movies, according to Puck News.

If the prequel is released, it will be the sixth Ocean’s film since Steven Soderbergh revived the series in 2001.

Stars in the first trilogy of movies included Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Matt Damon, and Julia Roberts.

The Ocean’s 8 spin-off film, which was released in 2018, was about an all-female crew of thieves lead by Danny Ocean’s cousin. Starring Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter, Rihanna, Mindy Kaling, and Awkwafina, Ocean’s 8 has no relation to Soderbergh’s Ocean’s trilogy.

The prelude to George Clooney’s Danny Ocean narrative, Jay Roach’s Ocean’s was written by Carrie Solomon. It will be a brand-new Ocean’s Eleven film set in 1960s Europe.

Together with Tom Ackerley, who works with Robbie at LuckyChap, they produce. Along with Michelle Graham of his Delirious Media, Roach is also producing. Gary Ross, Olivia Milch, and LuckyChap’s Josey McNamara serve as executive producers.

In the meantime, Barbie will be presented in theaters on July 21, 2023.

Along with Ryan Gosling, who plays Ken, and a larger ensemble cast that also includes Emma Mackey, Ncuti Gatwa, Will Ferrell, Simu Liu, Kate McKinnon, and more, Robbie plays the movie’s lead role.
