Exactly one year after the date of his original retirement announcement, Tom Brady has declared his retirement. In a video posted on Twitter, Brady announced his “for good” retirement.
Brady claimed he is eschewing the pomp and circumstance of retiring and won’t return to the field this year. Brady said that for his career, he “wouldn’t change a thing.”
Brady remarked, “I figured when I got up this morning, I’d simply push record and let you guys know first because I know the process was a pretty big deal last time.” “I won’t talk for too long. You only get one extremely emotional retirement essay, and I used up mine last year, so I really want to thank all of you for your support.
Brady competed in 23 seasons over the course of his career, winning seven Super Bowls, five Super Bowl MVP awards, three NFL MVP awards, and earning over $300 million. Brady threw for 4,694 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 9 interceptions in his final season.
