A woman who claims she had a relationship with the lead singer of Aerosmith when she was 16 has filed a sexual assault complaint against Steven Tyler.
Julia Holcomb, the complainant, has stated in public that she had a sexual contact with Tyler in 1973 when she was only 16 years old.
She has allegedly filed a lawsuit against him under the California Child Victims Act, accusing him of sexual assault, sexual abuse, and willful cause of mental distress, according to Rolling Stone. For survivors of childhood abuse, the statute of limitations was temporarily removed in the 2020 bill, with a filing deadline of December 31, 2022.
Holcomb has spoken openly about her experiences in an alleged three-year relationship with Tyler, who was then in his mid-20s. Tyler is not mentioned in the lawsuit.
Tyler claimed in his autobiography that he “In order to avoid getting arrested if I took the teen bride out of state, her parents, who “fell in love with me, signed a form over allowing me to have custody.” She went on my tour with me “.
Holcomb alleged that the Walk This Way hitmaker provided her drink and narcotics, engaged in sexual activity with her, and brought her along on tour. She said that at the age of 17, she conceived his child but was coerced into having an abortion.
If her lawsuit is successful, it might result in legal action against John Does 1 through 50.
Following foot surgery, the rock icon relapsed on painkillers and entered treatment again in May. Due to the singer’s mysterious sickness, the band was forced to postpone the final four performances of their Las Vegas residency earlier this month.
Tyler is still silent regarding the legal proceedings.
