"I'm Ready To Have Some Fun," Selena Gomez Says In A Teaser For New Songs

With her new music, Selena Gomez declares that she is “ready to have some fun.”

On Monday’s broadcast of The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, the 30-year-old singer and actress announced plans for new music.

In November, Gomez unveiled “My Mind & Me,” a brand-new song, along with her corresponding Apple TV+ documentary.

Gomez revealed on The Tonight Show that she is creating new music in New York.

“I’m so used to composing sad-girl tunes because I’m good at it. However, I’m eager to have some fun, and I think others will too “added the star.

She went on to say of her work in the studio, “I’m actually doing it here, which is awesome.

Rare, Gomez’s most recent album, was released in January 2020.

The Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me documentary follows the singer over the course of six years as she fights with her physical health and navigates her mental health journey while still finding connection and meaning.

The celebrity revealed on The Tonight Show that “we kind of went through all the different periods of my life from, you know, getting diagnosed and doing all the things I had to go through.”

“I’m unable to watch. To be completely honest, I was afraid to reveal it “Added she. “But I was aware that my goal is to be recognized for my honesty and openness. I don’t want to be an impossibility. I want others to understand that they’re not alone and that their situation is common.”

Gomez and Jimmy Fallon, who hosted The Tonight Show, also engaged in an Egg Roulette contest.
