Fans can only hope for a reality TV reunion.
Simon Cowell is eager to work with Britney Spears again, The X Factor creator revealed exclusively to E! News comes ten years after they both served as judges on the US version of the singing competition series.
“We talked about X Factor for so long before we did it,” Cowell told E! News, “there’s a side of Britney that a lot of people don’t know.” I mean, every time, I was on the phone with her for two or three hours. She was super smart and had great ideas for launching someone else’s career, which is essential if you’re going to be a judge on one of these shows. So I had a great friendship with her.”
If the America’s Got Talent judge has any future projects that require celebrity judges, he wants Spears by his side.
He did, in fact, make a public plea, adding, “Please come back and do it with me if you’re watching Britney and we make a show. It would be incredible. I absolutely adore her.”
“She’s really interesting,” he exclaimed, “and she’s very talented.”
