According to Parks Associates, more than 37% of smart TV owners, who account for 66% of all internet households in the United States, say Samsung is the brand they use the most in their homes.
Many consumer electronics manufacturers are equipping their TVs with platforms that allow control of other smart home devices such as thermostats, lights, and cameras, so the position of most-used device will be important as these capabilities spread throughout U.S. households, according to Parks.

Parks, based in Dallas, will have its 19th annual “Connections” summit on January 7, 2025, during the next Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, focusing on the internet-connected smart home industry.
“With the increasing adoption of smart technology, the sector is discovering interesting new revenue streams and providing more value to consumers. This event is an excellent opportunity to set the tone for the coming year,” said Mindi Sue Sternblitz-Rubenstein, Parks’ VP of Marketing.
