Yesterday, we reported that Roku may be discontinuing the Streambar Pro. The Streambar Pro has been deleted from Roku’s official website, and local Best Buy stores are exhibiting limited inventory.

We can now confirm that Roku is removing the Streambar Pro from its lineup while continuing to offer other soundbars.

The Roku Streambar Pro, a premium soundbar with a built-in Roku streaming player, has received high accolades for its sound quality and ease of integration. Now, it appears like Roku will focus on its current standard streaming bar, which includes a Roku streaming player and speaker.

The Streambar Pro is still listed on Amazon, although it is on sale and might be delivered as late as September 6, 2024.

Roku sent a statement to Cord Cutters News regarding the change. “Customers can stream with Roku using a variety of amazing devices, including the Roku Streambar SE. Streamers can enhance their audio experience by purchasing Roku TV Wireless Speakers, Wireless Bass, and other accessories. Users who already own a Roku Streambar Pro will continue to receive the most recent software upgrades, delivering Roku’s best-in-class experience.”

If you’ve been thinking about getting the Roku Streambar Pro, you might want to act immediately. With depleting supplies and the product’s removal from Roku’s official website, it appears the Streambar Pro’s days are short. The future is unknown, and Roku might be releasing a new soundbar/streaming player or focusing more on its Roku TV line of smart TVs.

Here’s how Roku explains the Streambar Pro:

Built-in 4K streaming: Enjoy an intuitive interface with channels that launch quickly—all in spectacular 4K HDR image ideal for any TV.
