Gabriel Olds, a New York native and Hollywood actor, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with seven felony charges of sexual assault, Fox News Digital confirmed.

According to the Los Angeles Police Department, Olds leveraged his celebrity and Ivy League degree to entice his victims, many of whom he met through dating apps.

Olds, a current Los Angeles resident, is being jailed on a $3.5 million bail.

A press release from the LAPD shared that Olds was initially accused of rape by a 41-year-old woman in January 2023. She claimed the alleged assault took place at her home. Two more victims came forward and detailed similar events dating back to 2013.

The victims claimed “consensual dating encounters that descended into violent sexual assault.”

A warrant for his arrest was issued on July 19, 2024.

His victims told law enforcement that he utilized his industry success and Yale University alumnus status to get dates, and that he had just begun using dating apps.

“We heard the same story over and over again,” said Detective Brent Hopkins, a special assault section supervisor. “Mr. Olds initially appeared nice, but subsequently used violent aggression to carry out these rapes. Some of these survivors suffered in secret for years before gaining the courage to speak up. Now that he’s off the streets, we want to ensure that everyone has an opportunity to be heard.”

Three ladies were recognized as assault victims. Two other people have come forward and “reported lesser violent sexual conduct.” Because of Olds’ occupation, authorities believe there may be additional victims around the country and urge anyone with knowledge to come forward.

Olds has appeared in numerous television shows dating back to 1993, including “Law & Order.” He has also been on “D.C.,” “NCIS,” “Charmed,” “Private Practice,” “Criminal Minds,” “Cold Case,” and “CSI,” among other shows.

He had a supporting role in the 2021 film “The Eyes of Tammy Faye,” which starred Jessica Chastain and Andrew Garfield.

Law enforcement confirmed to Fox News Digital that the disgraced actor is still in custody.

A spokesman from Olds did not immediately reply to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.
