The full title is The Fire Rises: The Creation and Impact of the Dark Knight Trilogy, but that’s a mouthful, so you’ll understand why we don’t keep calling it that.
What you get is 76 minutes of absolutely fascinating behind-the-scenes looks at how they made Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises.
There are snippets from some of Bruce Wayne’s auditions, including the performance that earned Christian Bale the role.

You can learn about the concepts that were incorporated into the trilogy of films, which caused particular moments to linger with you, the audience.
Of course, you can see much of the evolution of Heath Ledger’s renowned portrayal as The Joker.
In the documentary, Nolan stated that he and Ledger ‘certainly saw eye to eye on the wider picture of who this man was gonna be’ while considering the part of The Joker.
The filmmaker added that they went through a number of inspirations before ‘Heath was ready to do it’, and he eventually won an Oscar for his role.
During his screen test for The Dark Knight, Ledger begged to be able to do his own makeup since that’s what The Joker would have done, and you’ve probably heard about the other things he did to fully get into character.
