According to local authorities, the plane took off from J.F. Mitchell Airport in Paget Farm at noon, bound for St. Lucia. However, soon after takeoff, the plane “experienced difficulties and plummeted into the ocean.”

Paget Farm fishermen and divers were allegedly among the first to arrive to the site in their boats, hoping to help. The SVG Coast Guard was notified and dispatched to Paget Farm, Bequia, to assist with rescue efforts.

The victims were found from the airplane wreckage by local divers before being handed over to Coast Guard officials, according to the local police department. They were then brought to St. Vincent and interred in the Kingstown Mortuary.

Post-mortem examinations are likely to take place.

Oliver’s numerous credits include roles in Valkyrie and The Baby-Sitters Club, as well as a recurring role in the TV show Sense8.
