The action movie starring Ryan Gosling, The Gray Man, is expanding into a series, which will excite fans of the movie! On Tuesday, Netflix revealed that it is actively developing a sequel and spinoff movie based on the bestselling book series of the same name by Mark Greaney.
Gosling will return for the sequel as the eponymous “Gray Man,” aka former CIA agent Court Gentry, aka Sierra Six. Joe and Anthony Russo will once again serve as the film’s directors, while Stephen McFeely will handle the screenplay.
The Russo brothers stated in a news release that “The Gray Man has received nothing short of fantastic audience response.” “We are incredibly grateful for the fervor with which our movie has been received by viewers all across the world. We always wanted the Gray Man to be a part of a larger universe since it has so many incredible characters, so we are pleased that Netflix has announced a sequel with Ryan and a second script that we can’t wait to share.”
The screenwriters of Deadpool, Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese, are also working on a spin-off movie. Although the specifics are being withheld, Netflix did reveal that the movie will “explore a distinct element of The Gray Man universe.”

Netflix is currently streaming The Gray Man, which also stars Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Rege-Jean Page, Billy Bob Thornton, and others.
