TED KACZYNSKI, THE ‘UNABOMBER,’ HUNG HIMSELF IN HIS PRISON CELL… 911 Audio Reveals
Ted Kaczynski, also known as the “Unabomber,” committed suicide in federal prison by hanging himself, according to TMZ.
According to a 911 audio recording acquired by TMZ, someone at FMC Butner in North Carolina called emergency personnel Saturday morning, requesting assistance.
The caller reported that he “got a guy who was hanging… they’ve got a crash cart up there now.” A crash cart is a wheeled container that transports medicine and emergency resuscitation supplies.
According to those with firsthand knowledge… Kaczynski had severe neck injuries, including ear-to-ear redness and a deformed/depressed trachea. Rigor mortis had also set in, according to reports, particularly in his limbs and legs.
According to one source, Kaczynski appeared ghost-like and fragile in the days preceding up to his death, unlike when he was captured by the FBI in Montana on April 3, 1996. He was serving life in prison following his federal conviction for the murder of three persons and the maiming of many more during a 20-year domestic terror campaign utilizing postal bombs.
According to law enforcement officials, Kaczynski’s death appears to be a suicide, but no official cause of death has been issued pending the results of an autopsy.
