Katy Perry Wants Lizzo To Be An American Idol judge

Lizzo has been requested to be a judge on American Idol by Katy Perry.

The Dark Horse singer was asked what the most difficult aspect of being an American Idol judge was in a recent interview for Buzzfeed Celeb’s Puppy Interview feature.

“Probably being a woman and having a strong opinion,” the 38-year-old pop artist said, before adding, “I also think what’s really difficult is that only one person wins this contest.” I’d say the top 20 are all superstars, and I’d never want to sing after them because they can sing better than the rest of us.”

Katy, who has been a judge on American Idol since Season 16 with Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie, then claimed that her answer to being the only female judge on the show would be to invite more women onto the panel.

“I’d like Lizzo to join American Idol.” “This is an invitation from me, Katy Perry,” said the Roar singer. “I’d like to invite Lizzo to attend the panel. On the testosterone front, I’m feeling a little outnumbered. I could use some bold, honest, and hot takes.”

The reality competition show recently completed its 21st season, with the season finale airing on Sunday, May 21.
