According to an exclusive source, Sean “cashed out” the riches he would have earned following the death of the legendary singer in order to save the flailing Dirty Weekend brand.
“It is insane because I think he is relaunching Dirty Weekend for the third time,” a source said.
“Perhaps the third time’s the charm.”
Sean announced his company’s rebranding two months ago and thanked artist Hector De Marquez for his assistance.
Sean, 42, captioned an Instagram image, “Really proud of the work me and @hectordemarquez have put into rebranding dirtyweekend.”
“Someone who finally sees my vision of what it takes to be a successful business and entrepreneur is the team you have behind you,” says the author.

Last year, the entrepreneur founded the brand.
Sean is celebrating more than just the relaunch these days, since he is now a newlywed. On Valentine’s Day, the streetwear designer married his then-girlfriend, Jody Weintraub, in Las Vegas.
Sean, 42, had known Weintraub since high school. She is the late producer Jerry Weintraub’s daughter.
Sean and his new wife returned to Los Angeles after their elopement and celebrated their nuptials with the “Maggie May” singer and his ex-wife Alana Stewart, Sean’s mother.
