Joey Bada$$ has announced the release date of his new album ‘2000,’ as well as a string of North American tour dates.
Columbia Records will release the rapper’s third album, his first full-length effort in five years, on June 17. Bada$$ announced it on Instagram, along with a short trailer and the caption “Back on the set like I never left…”
The release of ‘2000’ comes on the heels of the release of new single ‘THE REV3NGE’ earlier this year, which was accompanied by a cinematic music video directed by child.
It includes dark footage of Bada$$ driving through a city at night while slinging guns and smoking cigarettes, as well as shots of the rapper inside a church with cloaked disciples.
The single was released just weeks after Bada$$ revealed during an Instagram Live that his third album will “definitely” be released this year.
“I’m not going to say when because certain rappers are hot on my tail.” So, imma just — it’s coming.”

It Bada$$ revealed details about the new album in a XXL interview earlier this month. “I’m just waiting for it to come out.” I’m aware that the world requires new Joey music. Joey wants to introduce new music to the world.”
“As far as producers go, I got my boys on there: Statik Selektah, Kirk Knight,” he continued. I’ve got a Cardo joint on there somewhere. On there, I’ve got a Mike WiLL [Made-It] joint. I’m supposed to meet with DJ Premier this week because I told him I can’t finish this album unless we collaborate.”
‘2000’ will be his first solo work since 2020’s ‘The Light Pack’ EP, and his first album since 2017’s ‘All-Amerikkkan Bada$$’
Bada$$ will also be heading on tour this summer with Capella Grey. See those dates below and find tickets here.
