A renowned rock band is about to unveil their inaugural album in over ten years.
Incubus vocalist Brandon Boyd informed Flux FM that the band has recently completed its record and intends to release it this year. This will be Incubus’ inaugural full-length album featuring new songs since “8” in 2017.
“We completed the album approximately two months ago.” Boyd stated, “It is expertly mastered, mixed, and fully prepared for release.” “The unfortunate aspect of completing the album in the current era is that, despite my desire to release it immediately, doing so would result in it being obscured amidst the vastness of the internet.”
NME reports that Boyd anticipates the release of the first single “in the next few months,” with the album expected to follow in October. The title and additional facts were not disclosed.

I believe it is an exceptional record, and I take great pride in it, as do other members of the band. “We thoroughly enjoyed the recording process,” Boyd said Flux FM.

This will be Incubus’ first new album in eight years and their inaugural music with bassist Nicole Row. NME states that former bassist Ben Kenney departed from the group in 2023 following surgery for a brain tumor, which resulted in permanent deafness in one ear and partial facial paralysis.

Incubus, an alternative rock/funk-metal band who performed at the Syracuse amphitheater in 2022, is renowned for its hits from the 1990s and 2000s, including “Drive,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Stellar,” “Nice to Know You,” “Anna Molly,” and “Pardon Me.” The band re-recorded the 2001 album “Morning View” with Row and released it the previous year.
Incubus will perform “Morning View” in its entirety, along with additional classics, during its 2025 tour, which features shows on June 28 in Uncasville, Connecticut, and June 30 in Toronto. Tickets can be obtained through StubHub and Vivid Seats.
