After returning from dinner, Wendy Williams and her niece Alex Finnie spoke with photographers before entering the Coterie. Wendy described the theatrics surrounding the police report as “unbelievable.”

When her guardian says there are no limitations on her movements or family guests, Wendy and Alex feel it’s strange since the Coterie objected to them coming out to supper.

WW claims that the guardian is lying and that the events of tonight demonstrate how horribly she is being handled.

The facility where Wendy Williams is being held has filed a police report alleging that her niece broke the law by taking her to supper, so much for her freedom to come and go as she pleases and spend time with her family.

Directly informed sources told TMZ… On Wednesday, Wendy’s niece, Alex Finnie, escorted her back to the Coterie, where she has been residing for the past eight months, from the hospital where WW has been receiving a psychological evaluation.

Alex took her well-known aunt to an Italian restaurant for dinner after hanging out with Wendy at the Coterie. Sources close to Wendy and her guardian believe that the Coterie reported Alex to the NYPD, saying he had taken Wendy out of the building to avoid personnel.

The catch is that Wendy is not allowed to leave the memory unit on the fifth level until an attendant presses the elevator button. Second, a staffer reportedly escorted Wendy and Alex to the lobby and unlocked their Uber so they could enter.

Given a letter TMZ obtained last night from the attorney for Wendy’s guardian, this is a startling change of events. According to that letter, there were no limitations on family visits and Wendy was free to come and go from the facility as she pleased. But here we are.

Wendy and Alex are already wrapping up their supper and will be heading back to the Coterie.
