Voletta Wallace, the mother of the Notorious B.I.G., was buried Wednesday in the same funeral home where her son, the rap sensation, was buried more than 28 years ago.
The Frank Campbell Funeral Chapel in Manhattan was packed with dozens of mourners… Among the well-known people there were Lil Kim, Mase, Diddy’s son Christian Combs, Ms. Wallace’s granddaughters T’yanna and CJ, and Biggie’s wife, Faith Evans.
Both Voletta’s great-granddaughter and Jay-Z’s mother, Gloria Carter, were seen honoring Ms. Wallace.

On February 21, Biggie’s mother passed away in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, leaving her son’s multimillion-dollar estate to be administered.
His mother became a hip-hop matriarch icon and public speaker after the renowned MC was murdered and killed in March 1997.
78 was Voletta Wallace’s age.
