Police claim that the wife of “Ghost Adventures” star Aaron Goodwin attempted to hire a hitman to kill her husband after being caught in a murder-for-hire scheme.

Victoria Goodwin allegedly devised a plan to assassinate Aaron while he was filming his program with Zak Bagans, leading to her arrest last week and her booking on two charges: solicitation to commit murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Victoria was messaging a prisoner in Florida about ending her marriage to Aaron when she inquired, “Am I a bad person?,” according to the arrest report that TMZ was able to get. Because I decided to kill him. Not a divorce.

Authorities claim that Victoria gave them information about Aaron’s whereabouts and shooting schedule in California, where he was working on “Ghost Adventures.”

Authorities claim that Aaron’s wife saved $11,515 to pay the suspected hitman. They also claim that the prisoner she was corresponding with messaged a men about the alleged scheme, saying, “He’s sleeping in the hotel room right now… I must know what’s happening. Could you please provide me with an update? Was it completed?

Aaron is still alive and well after this claimed incident in October. Police say there were specific texts regarding a $2,500 upfront payment, but it’s unclear what transpired with the alleged hitman.

Police claim that it wasn’t until corrections officers discovered and confiscated the inmate’s illegal phone in his Florida prison that they learned of the purported plot.

Victoria, according to the authorities, denied wishing Aaron dead and claimed to be daydreaming or having fantasies about living without her husband. Authorities claim she also told them she didn’t want her husband dead and that she didn’t recall sending the messages.

According to authorities, Victoria stated that she and Aaron were having marital issues and that she believed the money was for cell phones when she was questioned about communications pertaining to sending the man money.

Aaron, who wed Victoria in August 2022 at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion, tells TMZ that he believes his marriage to be happy and is shocked and heartbroken by this development.

Zak tells us that Aaron is going through a difficult period and that he is attempting to support and love him.

Victoria is reportedly still in police custody and is being held on $100,000 bail.
