Doechii is taking a minute to consider her progress after winning Best Rap Album at the GRAMMY Awards for Alligator Bites Never Heal.

A new version of “Anxiety,” which was originally recorded in her bedroom for her 2019 self-published mixtape, Coven Music Sessions, has been formally released in celebration.

Since the original version of “Anxiety” was never made accessible on DSPs, fans have long called for its formal release. Doechii returned to the song, rerecording her voice and creating a new version that pays homage to its unadulterated, emotional essence when demand reached a fever pitch. Today, Top Dawg Entertainment/Capitol Records released the song, which can now be streamed.
