Sony Music Publishing Nashville has announced the renewal of its global publishing administration deal with Lainey Wilson.
Sony Music Publishing Nashville has renewed its global publishing administration agreement with country star Lainey Wilson. The agreement continues the company’s historic collaboration with the Grammy-winning singer and composer, which began in 2017.
“Lainey Wilson is one of the most inspiring songwriters the world has ever known,” stated Anna Weisband, Vice President of Creative at Sony Music Publishing Nashville. “She continues to alter the country music genre with each song she writes. I am very thrilled to be on her team and to continue this adventure with her; I can’t wait to see what she does next!”

Lainey Wilson, one of country music’s most prolific musicians and songwriters, has received countless distinctions. The CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year winner has seven #1 successes, including “Watermelon Moonshine” and the double platinum hit “Heart Like A Truck,” as well as award-winning duets with Cole Swindell, Jelly Roll, and HARDY.
Wilson, who won her first Best Country Album Grammy this year for Bell Bottom Country, released her latest album, WHIRLWIND, earlier this year. That earned her a second consecutive Best Country Album nomination at the 2025 Grammy Awards on February 2. Wilson has also become a triple threat as a singer, songwriter, and actress, following her recent appearance in Paramount’s blockbuster series Yellowstone.

Wilson has received nine ACM awards, nine CMA awards, and was just inducted into the Grand Ole Opry. She also won Female Country Artist of the Year at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards and Country Song of the Year with “Heart Like A Truck” at the 2024 iHeartRadio Music Awards.
