Lamar Odom remembers experiencing auditory hallucinations while taking the narcotics discovered in Liam Payne’s system, implying that the medications may have contributed to the late One Direction member’s deadly fall.

“I’ve heard voices before,” the former NBA player, who almost died following a drug binge in a Las Vegas brothel in 2015, told TMZ on Monday.

The recovering drug user was questioned about his experience with crack and “pink cocaine,” a recreational drug that generally contains methamphetamine, ketamine, ecstasy, and other substances, since both were discovered in Payne’s system after a partial toxicology result.

Odom told the magazine that crack, in particular, made him nervous, which could “really drive you up the wall.”

“If you’re hearing voices, it’s hard to ignore them,” the former Los Angeles Lakers player continued. “So God forbid if those voices told him to do something that led to his fate, that would be real shame.”

Payne’s toxicology result, which was disclosed on Monday, revealed that, in addition to pink cocaine and crack, he had benzodiazepine, a form of depressive, in his system when he died.

Photos from his wrecked hotel room earlier revealed that the “Night Changes” singer also had clonazepam, a medication used to treat epilepsy, involuntary muscular spasms, and panic disorder.

Several eyewitnesses at the CasaSur Palermo Hotel in Buenos Aires, where Payne had been staying as a guest before falling to his death, said they saw the singer behaving abnormally.

One other visitor even saw the “Strip That Down” singer breaking his laptop in the hotel foyer after getting an email that seemed to disturb him.

In a distressing 911 call, the hotel’s management informed dispatchers he had a male visitor who seemed “high and drunk,” and he believed the problematic individual’s life was in “danger” since his room had a balcony.

Payne’s death is still being investigated. Last week, a source informed People that authorities suspect the “What Makes You Beautiful” singer got the narcotics from a hotel staffer.

However, the National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office in Argentina said earlier this month that they believe Payne was alone, and forensic scientists discovered “no defensive injuries.”

According to the prosecutor’s office, the “Story of My Life” singer was most likely unconscious when he tragically fell from his third-floor balcony, considering the “position in which the body was left and the injuries from the fall.”

Officials claimed his death was caused by various injuries and internal and external bleeding endured after his deadly fall.

Odom, who runs three treatment facilities, told TMZ he is praying for Payne’s family and hopes the star’s death serves as a “wake-up call” for “everyone in the industry.”

The 44-year-old former basketball star speculated on the possibility of fentanyl use. Who wants a high? I call it “getting low.”
