Reebok Basketball has officially revealed its newest player relationship with Matas Buzelis, a highly regarded rookie from Chicago and the 11th overall choice in the 2024 NBA Draft.

Buzelis joins an elite group that includes Angel Reese, Lexie Brown, and freshly signed prospects Nate Ament and Dink Pate, all led by Shaquille O’Neal, Reebok’s President of Basketball.

“Reebok just felt like the right fit,” said Buzelis. “They have a lot of enthusiasm and attention, and they take a wonderful approach to developing items that suit how I play. I’m incredibly excited to collaborate with the company to produce and make an impact.”

As part of his multi-year endorsement agreement, Buzelis will actively engage in Reebok brand activations and promote the company’s performance and lifestyle goods, including the recently released “Engine A” performance basketball sneaker.

Matas Buzelis, a 6’10” forward from Hinsdale, Illinois, was a top five recruit in his high school class before deciding to join the G League Ignite program in 2023 rather than play collegiate basketball. During his high school career, he was named All-American and Player of the Year, and he was chosen for the NBA’s Basketball Without Borders initiative.

Buzelis exudes the attitude of a Reebok player with his great ballhandling abilities, explosive finishing ability, and shooting elegance. He accepts challenges on the court and plays with confidence and determination.

Buzelis commented on his collaboration with Reebok and its basketball icons, saying, “It’s cool to be part of the same brand as Shaq and AI.” Those guys have done so much for the game, and I’m honored to be able to collaborate with a brand that is so closely associated with them. It’s a wonderful sensation.”
