The official cause of death for Rich Homie Quan was disclosed at the start of the month.
According to Georgia’s Fulton County Medical Examiner, who talked to TMZ, his death was caused by an accidental overdose. There were no indications of trauma, but a cocktail of fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, and promethazine was discovered. Before this, he was reported to have been unconscious on the kitchen floor with food in his mouth. Around three in the morning, his brother, Andre Munford, placed him on the couch. Amber Williams, his girlfriend, got up later that morning to find him still in the same posture and didn’t check to see what was wrong until around 11 a.m.
At that point, she called 911. Following the arrival of police, Quan was taken to Grady Hospital in Atlanta, where he unfortunately died. However, speaking of the authorities, XXL claims that body cam footage from the rapper’s death day (September 5) has started to appear online. The responders interrogate Williams and Munford about what happened and how they handled the issue in the video, which you can watch below.

Without much hesitation, Quan’s brother appeared to be able to respond to every question the officer asked. Williams, on the other hand, was more sentimental and did become rather tearful. Since it might be quite difficult to watch at times, we advise against watching if you are easily offended. According to GOSSIP OF THE CITY, the rapper was photographed by his brother as he was eating. While they were transporting Quan to the hospital, the cops also informed Amber that his eyes were still open. Additionally, cops contacted homicide since they were skeptical about the circumstances.
