Jennifer Lopez doesn’t want to find love.
When she talked about her and Ben Affleck’s split for the first time, the “Let’s Get Loud” singer gushed about being single.
Lopez, 55, told Interview magazine on Wednesday why she is “excited” to be by herself two years after getting married to the star, 52.
She asked, “What can I f–king do when it’s just me flying on my own… what if I’m just free?” that was a question that had been on her mind for the past 25 to 30 years.

The Grammy nominee told Nikki Glaser that the “new territory” is “lonely, unfamiliar, scary,” “sad,” and “desperate,” but she made it clear that “being in a relationship doesn’t define” her.
“When you sit with those feelings and tell yourself, ‘These things are not going to kill me,’ it’s like, ‘Actually, I can be joyful and happy by myself,'” she said.
She went on, “I can’t be looking for happiness in other people.” “I have to be happy inside by myself.”
Lopez said she is a “romantic” person who “loves being in relationships and wants to grow old with someone.”
She did say, “We think, ‘I need that to be whole and happy.'” “And you don’t.”

Lopez now thinks that her relationship with herself is the “most important thing.” She also said, “I think we tend to get away from that sometimes, when we’re busy with other people.”
A lot of people thought Lopez and the Oscar winner were breaking up in May, but she didn’t say anything about it. In fact, she scolded a reporter for asking her about it.
It made news that the “Gigli” co-stars spent her birthday and their anniversary apart before Lopez filed for divorce in August.
She and Affleck have been seen holding hands while out with their blended family, but they are said to be “moving forward” with their split.
