Eminem’s most recent album has been a huge smash, and the rapper’s success abroad is evidence of his enduring career in music.
Billboard said on Monday, June 17, that “Houdini,” a song by the Detroit native, has continued to be the top single in the UK charts for an additional week.
This is the first time one of his songs has been at the top of the chart for multiple cycles. In addition, it’s his first chart-topper in the area as a solo artist since 2005.
The sentimental song has also reached the top of the charts in Norway, Switzerland, Australia, and Canada.

Regarding the US, Em just missed becoming the first number one on the Billboard Hot 100 in more than ten years because Post Malone and Morgan Wallen’s “I Had Some Help” are still topping the charts.
The D12 MC’s most recent track became his highest-charting single since 2013 as it debuted at No. 2 on the list. “Houdini” had four million radio impressions and nearly 50 million streams in its first week of release.
Akon’s “Smack That” (2006), Rihanna’s “The Monster” (2013), Ed Sheeran’s “River” (2017), Juice WRLD’s “Godzilla” (2020), and The Real Slim Shady (2000), “Stan” (2000), “Without Me” (2002), “Lose Yourself” (2002), “Just Lose It” (2004), and “Like Toy Soldiers” (2005) are just a few of the 51-year-old’s previous ten cuts that have previously topped the charts.

Earlier this month, Eminem made his debut appearance of “Houdini” at Live From Detroit: The Concert at Michigan Central Station. Along with “Not Afraid,” “Sing for the Moment” featuring Jelly Roll, and a deep cut called “Welcome 2 Detroit” featuring local icon Trick Trick, the four-song set also included these other songs.
The frontman of Slim Shady is happy with how their latest song, which interpolates Steve Miller Band’s 1982 hit song “Abracadabra,” turned out.
