Megan Thee Stallion’s Hot Girl Summer Tour is in full swing, and she keeps the surprises coming.

The Houston native knew she had to come prepared for the Texas part of the tour, and she did not disappoint last night (June 13) at her Austin gig, when she brought out the renowned Paul Wall as a special guest.

Clips from the concert show the 29-year-old introducing The People’s Champ by playing Mike Jones’ genuine smash “Still Tippin'”. As he strides out and takes center stage, the audience greets him with shouts and raps along to every word of his unforgettable verse. Other videos feature the fellow Texan performing Nelly’s “Grillz”.

The response on social media was largely positive, with many people mentioning how popular Wall is in the society. “Some people just look better with age,” read one comment alongside a popular repost of the performance, to which another user responded jokingly, “Black don’t crack baby!”. Check out some recaps here.

After a turbulent few years that included Tory Lanez’s trial and a public breakup, Meg is back on top—and she knows it. She just shared a positive update for her Hotties on Instagram, consisting of a photo dump and a message explaining each slide. With one portrait in particular, she subtly addressed recent criticism for not being a “arena artist.”

“Ima pop my sh*t for a second lol but people questioned if I was an arena artist anddd I mean,” he concluded with a shrugging shoulder emoji.

This was most likely a response to Charlamagne Tha God’s past statements about not knowing if she could sell out venues. He has since retracted his views and given credit where it was due. “Clearly, we received our responses. She sold out 13 arena shows and over 240,000 tickets in North America and Europe. Yeah, if you’re selling out arenas, you’re an arena performer,” he explained.
