Hulu and Disney+ will release ‘Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band’ in October of this year, though an exact date has not been announced.

The documentary will provide the most in-depth look at the production of Springsteen’s iconic live performances, with behind-the-scenes video from his 2023-2024 world tour. ‘Road Diary: Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band’ gives fans around the world an inside look at Springsteen’s creative process by providing behind-the-scenes footage of band rehearsals and rare moments backstage.

Conversations with Springsteen himself sprinkle the story, as do rare archival clips of The E Street Band, which highlight themes of life, loss, mortality, and community. The documentary will be a never-before-seen chapter in Springsteen’s autobiographical series, which includes his memoir Born to Run, Springsteen on Broadway, and the flicks Western Stars and Letter to You.

The video opens with a unique glimpse at the band’s preparation process, following them from their first rehearsals in Red Bank, New Jersey, to live performances for thousands of fans throughout the world.

Fans will get to see professionally shot footage from the 2023-2024 tour for the first time, as well as hear personally from band members about performing on stage with Springsteen. Members of The E Street Band describe how they’ve preserved the joy of performing live on stage with Bruce Springsteen over the years.

Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band completed the first leg of their 2024 global tour in April, delivering 60 different songs across 11 shows. The band is now touring Europe, doing 25 performances in the spring and summer before returning to North America for further dates from August to November.
