Shannon Sharpe and Mike Epps have gotten into a fight over statements Epps made about Sharpe’s sexual orientation.
Footage of Epps performing at a comedy gig leaked on social media this weekend, during which the comic implied that Sharpe is gay and denied the former NFL star’s request to appear on his Club Shay Shay podcast.

“That ni**a Shannon Sharpe called me trying to do an interview,” the 53-year-old told the crowd. “I said ‘no Madea, I ain’t doing no interview with you’ – so you can sit across from me and look at my balls.”
He went on to say, “The nia sht is called Shay Shay, as the nia informs you. Put a wig on that motherf*ker and tell me if she isn’t Madea’s sister.
Sharpe responded to Epps’ comments during an episode of his Nightcap podcast with Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson. While Sharpe did not mention Epps by name, he did allude to the comic’s famous video and threatened to reveal private messages between him and Epps.

“Mention my name again, and I’m gonna put the DMs [out],” Sharpe stated during the show. “And I dislike doing this. “But you are lying.”
The 55-year-old elected not to acknowledge or respond to Epps’ claims that he is homosexual, but he did warn that if Epps continued to degrade his name, he would expose the content of their conversation. “I don’t care about any of the other things. You can call me gay… “I don’t care about that,” Sharpe replied.
“Because I refuse to chase a falsehood. But I will not allow you lie about my name.” He added, “Say my name again, and I’ll release the DM. “Because you are lying.” Sharpe completed his diatribe by accusing Epps of lying about being asked to appear on Club Shay Shay, implying a veiled threat against the Indiana native if the two ever crossed paths again.

“You stated I asked you to join Club Shay Shay, and you’re a liar. Now when I see you, I’m going to see if you’re interested. I’m going to see if you want to say what you’ve been saying, trying to get some laughs because you were upset because Katt Williams did what he did.”
Shannon Sharpe has become a lightning rod in the entertainment industry following his interview with Katt Williams, which has received millions of views and saw Williams aggressively attacking a number of comedy luminaries.
