Snoop Dogg’s daughter Cori Broadus experienced a “severe stroke” on Thursday, January 18. The 24-year-old opened all about her health scare on her Instagram Story.
She described her emotional response to her medical situation and took two photos from an unidentified hospital. She typed, “I had a severe stroke this am,” on the first slide. “As soon as they told me, I started crying.” In her second picture, Cori was seen wearing a sweatshirt and contemplating what she had done to “deserve” a stroke.
“I’m just 24 years old. What actions did I do in the past to earn myself thus much?
When Broadus was six years old, he received a lupus diagnosis. The Mayo Clinic states that lupus is a condition that develops when the body’s immune system starts to target its own tissues and organs. Additionally, the illness may result in inflammation, which can harm blood cells, joints, the heart, lungs, and other organs. Furthermore, according to Lupus Corner, “the risk of stroke is 4-times to 8-times higher in lupus patients, due to vasculitis stiffening the blood vessels and inflammation influencing the tendency of blood to clot.”

Cori disclosed her lupus diagnosis to People in September 2023. She described the lifestyle adjustments she took in an effort to manage the illness. She said, “I’ve been good, better than I’ve ever been.” “About five months ago, I stopped taking all of my medications. I’m just using natural products, like sea moss, teas, and various plants. I started exercising while consuming a lot of water. I believe that at this point, my body is adjusting to the new program and she is growing accustomed to it.
I’ve been dependent on these pills my entire life, having taken medication since I was six years old. I thus desired better for myself,” she continued. It had just become so bad that I felt the need to change. I’m only 24 years old, and I take ten or twelve medicines daily. I therefore kind of stopped talking altogether.
