In a New York courtroom, Robert De Niro recently suffered a significant setback when a jury awarded his production business a $1.2 million verdict.

De Niro’s allegation that Graham Chase Robinson, his former personal assistant, stole from him was rejected by a jury. After five hours of deliberation, the jury rejected his $6 million damage claim.

Robinson’s $12 million countersuit received far more sympathy from the jury, which gave her $1.2 million against De Niro’s Canal Productions.

During the two-week trial, De Niro gave testimony, and the jury was informed about the conflicts between him. The actor acknowledged calling her a “f**king spoiled brat” after she neglected to wake him up for a crucial meeting. He also acknowledged that he often asked her to scratch his back, but he dismissed the idea that this was inappropriate. Robinson described it as “disgusting” and “creepy.”
